Russian Invitations

For travel to Russia, all travelers must have a visa and an official Letter of Invitation approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, its regional representatives, or by an appropriate Russian Federation Migration Service Branch.  Russian entry requirements state that a Letter of Invitation must be submitted in order to obtain a Russian visa.

To Obtain a Russian Invitation You Must:

  1. Provide a scan of your passport information page(s).  Provide a clear color copy of the information page(s) of your passport.  You will need to be able to upload a scan of this page(s) when completing the online order form.
  2. Complete the online invitation request form.  Fill out the online Russian Invitation request form and upload your scanned passport information pages.
  3. Submit your Travisa Russian Invitation request.  Click the 'Submit' button at the bottom of your online invitation request form to complete your order. Your Russian Invitation will be sent from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or the Ministry of the Interior, directly to the embassy or consulate issuing your visa. You will not receive a copy of this document.  Your invitation will be stored electronically with the Russian government.
